Louisa Mattson

Louisa is a clinical psychologist and the co-founder and co-leader of Camden's Authentic Leadership Program for Women Executives. She has a rich background in career consulting.

Louisa's talent management expertise is focused on helping senior executives successfully negotiate major personal and professional career transitions. She holds dual roles with the firm, sharing her expertise with clients at Camden and its sister division, Essex Partners.  With a particular emphasis on women executives, she partners with and enables them to reach new leadership levels, define alternative career paths and improve work/life balance. 

Previously, Louisa was with Wesleyan University, the Marino Center for Progressive Health and was also a private consultant for more than 20 years. She is versed in a variety of executive assessment tools useful in career planning and personal development and has deep experience in stress management and performance enhancement techniques.

Louisa holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Minnesota and has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan. She completed post-doctoral training in Organizational Development and Human Resource Consulting; is a licensed One-on-One HeartMath provider; and a member of the American Psychological Association and The National Register of Health Service Providers. Louisa has advanced training in leading-edge mind/body techniques for addressing "whole person" issues.

Away from Camden, Louisa likes to cycle, play tennis and garden as well as contemplate the frontiers of consciousness.
